Today we cut up and prepared most of the material that we have been given into pillowcase 'bodies' and 'ends'. This way it will be really quick for us to make the next batch of pillowcases. We can't wait to start matching up the next patterns!
We also put our first 20 pillowcases in the wash and they are currently hanging out to dry. All they need now is to be ironed and placed into individual zip lock bags so that they are kept clean and sanitary for the kids. We are so excited to send out the first batch to the Alexandra Hospital in Brighton!!
We make bright and fun pillowcases for children undergoing long term hospital care. We hope that this small contribution will brighten up a child's environment and put an all important smile on their face.
